border-crypt

1.2.2. Description

border-crypt is an interactive command-line program that reads a clear-text password from the user and prints a salted hashed passphrase for use in the user statement in border.conf(5). The hashed passphrase is generated using the crypt_ra(3) function with its default setting.

Note

border-crypt needs to be run interactively in a console.

1.2.3. Options

border-crypt does not use any command-line arguments.
